- Course objectives
- Training the skills in methods used in basic and special toxicology.
- Syllabus
- Routes of excretion of xenobiotics. Biological tests of exposure. Similarities and differences between children and adults in toxicology. The carcinogenesis. Short-term tests of genotoxicity. Examples of the food chains contamination by xenobiotics (DDT, lead). Priorities of the modern toxicology. Smoking as the major toxicologic source of human exposure.
