Course objectives
Physical therapy introduces students of physiotherapy to natural and artificial physical sources. There are physical factors like the effect of warm and could temperature, sun-irradiations, mechanical factors, lasser therapy, ultrasound therapy, magnetic therapy, balneotherapy, and others.

  • Vector currents, vector field, modern electrotherapy devices
  • Electroanalgesia, TENS
  • Impulsive therapy, used current curves and its effect
  • Electrodiagnostics in physiatry, IT curve.
  • Electrostimulation and electrogymnastics
  • Magnetic field, basic terms & 17 Problems of biological impact of magnetic field
  • Magnetotherapy, types of application, devices
  • Indications and contraindication of magnetotherapy
  • High frequency currents and microwaves, taxonomy and principles of effect
  • Short waves and ultra-short waves diathermy, types of application
  • Short waves diathermy, indication and contraindication
  • Microwave diathermy, indication and contraindication
