- Course objectives
- At the end of the course students should understand and be able to explain, specifically and in detail, folowing areas: - The importance of lifestyle factors among other health determinants, in disease prevention and health promotion. - Main lifestyle factors, their substance and description, influence, possibilities of evaluation, recommendations - prescription, use in prevention and health promotion: Nutrition, physical activity, smoking, alcohol, psychosocial factors. Above all, they should be able to use their knowledge in intervention for lifestyle changes in patients and genereal population.
