- Teaching methods
- In practicals students are provided with a pharmacology teacher presentation on the topic stated in curriculum followed by discussion, including specific reports prepared as homework and presented by students. There are also presented video-programmes to demonstrate manufacturing of drug dosage forms, some of them will be prepared by students, too. The pharmacological calculations are taught on PC using the specific pharmacokinetic programmes.
- Assessment methods
- The students have to pass the final written multiple-choice test, in which students are asked to answer to multiple-choice questions (only 1 correct answer is possible to each question). The test contains 20 questions generated randomly for each single student. One point is granted for each correctly answered question. 0.5 point will be distracted for an incorrect answer to the multiple-choice question. The summary of the score obtained is evaluated. A criterion for receiving credits is the summary score higher or equal to the 50% points of the maximum score obtained.
