Course objectives
In this subject students will repeat knowledge from bachelor education. Knowledges gain for application special contact lenses, toric, cosmetic, prosthetic. They learn how to correct visual disorders with lower occurrence such as high anisometropia, high or irregular astigmatism. Further content of this subject is application of cover therapeutical contact lenses and drugt-delivering.
Syllabus
  • 1) Repeating of basic principles 2) Confrontation of self experiences with application 3) Special contact lenses and their application 4) Refraction test, principles of visual optometry and correction with contact lens 5) Prothetic contact lenses, indication, applications 6) Cover, and therapeutical contact lenses, drug-delivering lenses 7) News in hygiene of contact lenses
