Course objectives
Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the subject is to acquire practical knowledge of physiotherapy and therapeutic rehabilitation during pregnancy, childbirth, puerperium, menopause, gynecological operations and incontinence treatment; acquaint with the principles and procedures of exercises with patients after symphysis, with deviations of the uterus, dysmenorhea, with the possibility of influencing diastasis of abdominal muscles and algic syndromes associated with pregnancy (sakralgia, lumbalgia), with the etiology of the origin and therapies of the functional pathology of pelvic floor muscles according to Mosesova and with oncological problems illness, including patient guidance after mastectomy.
Syllabus
  • Part of the subject is the use of appropriate elements of kinesiotherapy and physical therapy.
  • Assembling methodical training units using appropriate elements of physiotherapy for pregnant women with trimester breaks, postpartum women during the puerperium, for patients after gynecological surgery, patients with algic syndromes in the pelvis and lumbar spine.
  • Assembling training units with application of incontinence therapy principles.
  • Practical analysis of back schools and practical use in midwifery work.
