- Course objectives
- The subject is conceived as practical. It includes anesthesia, intensive care and resuscitation care for children and adults.
The aim is to practically prepare a medical rescuer to secure patients with failure of basic life functions, to support them and to compensate for the use of anesthesia and analgesia techniques for all ages. - Learning outcomes
- Student will be able to:
basic diagnosis of essential vital functions,
monitoring of invasive and noninvasive, intensive care,
preparation of anesthesia workplace,
practical assistance in general anesthesia,
practical assistance in basic techniques of local anesthesia
to practically secure a patient with a failure or a failure of essential life functions;
evaluate the overall condition of the patient using monitoring techniques. - Syllabus
- Involvement of basic techniques and techniques in general and local anesthesia and analgesia;
- Practice of basic diagnostics and therapy procedures in patients with functional impairment;
- Invasive and non-invasive monitoring of patients in intensive care;
- Practical procedure for the preparation of anesthesiology workplace, pre-operative examination, preparation and premedication of the patient;
- Practical procedure for general anesthesia, possible complications and method of solving them;
- Practical procedure for local anesthesia, possible complications and how to deal with them
- Monitoring in intensive and resuscitation care.
