- Course objectives
- The course gives an introduction to ethics of urgent care. The aim of the course is: to introduce to ethics of paramedics and urgent care; to inform about ethical dilemmas of urgent care; to learn how to solve ethical problems in urgent health care, including argumentation; to develop the ability to perceive ethical questions within urgent health care - to learn how to prevent problems observing ethical professional standards.
- Learning outcomes
- after completing the subject, the student will be able to identify ethical aspects of urgent care; the student will acquire the skills to address and analyze these aspects, developing abilities to solve them in line with the professional standards

- Introduction to ethics of urgent care & Models of relationships in healthcare & Informed consent & Patient rights & Health care information & Protection of personal data in healthcare & Categorization of treatment & Forms and modes of reduction of treatments within urgent care & Distinction killing - letting die and its relevance for intensive medicine & Euthanasia and assisted suicide & Research in urgent care & Professional standards and normative toolsofessional standards and normative tools.
