Course objectives
The graduate of the basic module is able to:  work with materials for optimizing the operation of laboratory clinical biochemistry,  Participate in laboratory accreditation, validation of laboratory methods, external and internal quality assessment  To participate in the resolution of crisis measures in the case of natural and other disasters (mass incidence of patients, evacuation of the hospital, protection of the population);  elaborate on the operational orders of the relevant laboratories in the framework of the legislation regulating the conditions for the prevention and spread of infectious diseases and hygienic requirements for the operation of medical facilities,  manage basic urgent cardiopulmonary resuscitation,  To participate in the education of clinical laboratory staff according to the pedagogical principles of education,  Perform statistical data processing,  work with laboratory information systems,  process professional texts.

Teaching methods
The teaching methods of the theoretical part of the specialized education are primarily focused on providing current knowledge in the field of clinical laboratory management and operation with the practical application of clinical, analytical and instrumental technologies and procedures. The output of the study is the ability of the health professional-specialist to use acquired knowledge for practical work in laboratory. An important output is also the acquisition of a positive and active approach to operational, organizational and technological changes that are typical for Toxicology. The basic form of teaching is a lecture accompanied by ppt-presentations and commented video sequences. http://portal.med.muni.cz/ There is also a guided discussion on the topics with a description of solutions at maternity clinics. Participants have access to the e-learning course "Liqurology", which is part of the subject of the bachelor's degree in Health Laboratory at the Faculty of Medicine. Similar format is available for urine morphology.
Assessment methods
The accredited facility will allocate to each participant of the specialized training a teacher who is an employee of an accredited facility. The Theoretical Teacher prepares a study plan and the implementation of practical exercises to be completed by the participant in the course and continuously verifies the knowledge and skills of the participant in the specialized training. Professional experience at specialist workplaces takes place under the supervision of an assigned trainer who is an employee of the workplace, has a specialized qualification in the field and a certificate for the exercise of the health profession without professional supervision. a) Continuous assessment by a supervisor The supervisor for theoretical instruction enters in the study card the termination of each module and the number of credits gained, the supervisor of the professional practice confirms the accomplished achievements set by the educational program. b) Prerequisite for the attestation examination: theoretical and practical training, including the fulfillment of the required professional practice in the accredited facility and the fulfillment of the tasks stipulated by the educational program, obtaining the relevant number of credits. c) Self-certification test:  is carried out according to Decree No. 189/2009 Coll., as amended. The continuous evaluation of the acquired theoretical knowledge is carried out in the form of a test at the beginning of the following module of the specialized training program.
