Course objectives
The main aims are:
- to describe organs of senses and organs of peripheral and central nervous systems
- definition of the topographic regions of the head, neck, and trunk on cadavers, including the structures located in this regions
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to:
- identify and describe the structures of the nerve system on the diagrams, models and cadavers
- identify the regions of the head, neck,thorax, abdomen and pelvis and describe the anatomical structures in them on the human cadavers
- characterize the topographic relationships between the organs of the thoracic, abdominal and pelvic cavities

  • 1. Surface anatomy and structure of the spinal cord
  • 2. Surface anatomy and structure of the brain stem
  • 3. Surface anatomy of the cerebellum and diencephalon
  • 4. Surface anatomy and structure of the telencephalon
  • 5. Meninges, ventricles and vascular system of the CNS
  • 6. The cranial nerves
  • 7. Cervical plexus. Intercostal nerves. Dorsal rami
  • 8. The autonomic system
  • 9. The visual system
  • 10. The auditory system
  • 11. Topographical areas (head and neck)
  • 12. Topographical areas of the body (except limbs)
