Course objectives
The main objectives of the course are:
- acquiring theoretical knowledge about the organization and importance of psychiatric care in physiotherapy
- acquiring theoretical knowledge about psychiatric disorders
- acquiring theoretical knowledge about the solution of acute psychiatric conditions
- acquiring theoretical knowledge about possible pharmacological and non-pharmacological procedures for the treatment of psychiatric disorders with regard to physiotherapy
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course the student will be able to:
- understand the organization and use of psychiatric care for physiotherapy practice
- describe and recognize symptoms of the most common psychiatric disorders
- design a suitable physiotherapeutic procedure in patients with psychiatric disorders
- design a suitable physiotherapeutic procedure for restless patients

Record of attendance at lectures (1 absence is allowed)
Exam written test. The test contains 10 queries of the closed job type with   selecting one correct answer. To pass the test successfully, the student has to answer at least 6 questions correctly.
