Course objectives
The main objective of the course is clinical rehabilitation. Clinical rehabilitation in internal medicine with the practical application physiotherapy at the bedside of clinical departments.
Learning outcomes
The student will be able to use the following:
- physiotherapy in patients with internal disease
- physiotherapy for diseases of the circulatory system
- physiotherapy for digestive system diseases
- physiotherapy in endocrine diseases
- physiotherapy for hematopoietic disorders (hemophilia)
- respiratory physiotherapy and breathing stereotype
- the issue of geriatric, rheumatological and cardiac defects is lectured in other fields
Syllabus
  • Exercise therapy in circulatory diseases. Exercise training in cardiology patients. Functional limitations of physical load in patients with ischemic heart disease.
  • Exercise therapy in hypertension, in patients with neurociculatory asthenia.
  • Disorders of peripheral circulation. Arteriosclerosis of arteries of lower limbs. Exercise therapy in patients with varices cruris, thrombophlebitide, phlebotrombosis, Raynauds disease.
  • Exercise therapy in the disease of digestive system: constipation, diarrhea, peptic ulceration.
  • Exercise therapy in endocrine diseases: obesity, malfunction of the thyroid gland.
  • Exercise therapy in the blood system diseases: hemophilia.
  • Respiratory physiotherapy and breathing stereotype changed in respiratory diseases. Physiotherapy in respiratory diseases.
  • Exercise therapy in geriatric patients. Geriatric diseases: rheumatology, stroke, heart diseases and others.
  • Exercise therapy and the issue of social and occupational rehabilitation for internal diagnosis.
