- Objectives of the subject are:
- understanding of general and special psychiatry and its relation to dentistry
- familiarization with the terminology used in psychiatry
- familiarization with the methodology of psychiatric diagnostics and the basics of psychiatric therapy
- acquiring the diagnostic-therapeutic process in patients with psychiatric symptoms occurring in dental practice - Learning outcomes
- Student will be able to:
- describe and divide basic psychiatric disorders
- describe signs of psychotic illness
- describe principles of basic diagnostics in psychiatry
- describe and suggest ways of possible therapy in patients with psychiatric disorders and acute psychosis - Syllabus

Teaching takes place in the form of full-time, there is a record of attendance. 1 absence during the week is allowed for the credit.In case of illness or quarantine, it is necessary to enter an apology in IS MUNI and write doc.
