- 1. Parkinson’s Disease and Dementia with Lewy Bodies: prodromal stages, diagnostic biomarkers, clinical diagnostic criteria, differential diagnosis - Prof. Irena Rektorová online course | synchronous | English | 2 hours Learning objectives: as a result of this course, participants will - be able to diagnose Lewy body disorders (LBDs) and their subtypes using biomarkers - be able to differentiate PD-dementia, dementia with Lewy bodies, other types of degenerative dementia associated with parkinsonism
- 2. Parkinson’s disease: treatment approaches of motor symptoms – early PD and advanced disease including infusion pumps and PD surgery - Assoc. Prof. Marek Baláž (Masaryk Univ., Brno) and prof. Norbert Kovacs (Univ. of Pecs, Hungary) online course | synchronous | English | 2 hours Learning objectives as a result of this course, participants will: - know how to treat motor symptoms of early and advanced PD including the advanced therapies - be able to choose optimal candidates for deep brain stimulation and other advanced treatment approaches
- 3. Parkinson’s disease (PD): non-motor symptoms and their management - Assoc. Prof. Marek Baláž (Masaryk Univ., Brno) and prof. Norbert Kovacs (Univ. of Pecs, Hungary) online course | synchronous | English | 2 hours Learning objectives: as a result of this course, participants will: - be able to recognize non-motor symptoms of PD - be able to treat non-motor symptoms of PD including dementia
- 4. Translational models of Parkinson’s disease – Assoc. Prof. Jana Rudá online course | synchronous | English | 2 hours Learning objectives: as a result of this course, participants will: - be able to describe animal models of PD and understand their significance in studying pathophysiological mechanisms of the disease - be able to describe both motor and cognitive assessment of these models and understand the potential of translational research and biomarkers of synucleinopathies

Alzheimer’s disease stages, diagnostic criteria and ATN classification, other neurodegenerative dementias, treatment approaches – Dr. Lenka Krajčovičová online course | synchronous | English | 2 hours Learning objectives: as a result of this course, participants will: - be able to characterize and diagnose preclinical stages of Alzheimer’s disease dementia using biomarkers - be able to differentiate other most common types of dementia (except LBDs) - be able to treat cognitive, affective and behavioural symptoms associated with cognitive decline in Alzheimer’s disease
