- Course objectives
- The content of the course is familiarisation with the issue of the organisation of Czech health care in the context of information systems, their methodology and implementation of information technology applications in healthcare.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course students should be able to: - understand the problems of information systems in general - orientate themselves in the field of hospital information systems - understand the issue of the interconnection of individual health information systems up to the issue of e-health. - Understand patient data and patient computer record - apply information and communication technologies in the context of diagnostic, therapeutic and administrative systems, hierarchy and function of medical information systems.
