- Course objectives
- The main aims of the course are:
-to describe the locomotor system of the human body
-to describe organs of the digestive, respiratory, urinary and genital systems - Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course student will be able to:
1. describe the skeleton of the human body.
2. describe the joints of the human body.
3. identify muscles of the human body, classify them into groups.
4. describe organs of the digestive, respiratory, urinary and genital systems. - Syllabus
- 1. Planes and directions of the body, introduction to the X-ray anatomy, axial skeleton.
- 2. Bones of extremities.
- 3. Bones of the neurocranium.
- 4. Bones of the facial skeleton.
- 5. Skull as a whole.
- 6. General arthrology, joints.
- 7. General myology, muscles and fasciae of the head and neck.
- 8. Muscles of the trunk (back, thorax and abdomen).
- 9. Muscles of extremities.
- 10. Digestive system I.
- 11. Digestive system II.
- 12. Respiratory system, thyroid and parathyroid glands.
- 13. Urinary system, male genital system.
