Course objectives
The goal of this subject is to introduce students to the health care services from an managerial and economical point of view.
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course students will be able to:
focus on public health and health policy development;
describe the Czech health care system and compare it with surrounding countries;
understand the principle of financing the health service; to use information from health statistics
to express themselves on the issues of personnel management and quality of care
orientation in basic legislation in the field;
knowledge of professional organizations;
able to interpret the principles of healthcare reform and management of crisis management.
