- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to build on the lecture cycle and to acquaint students with the regulation on specific situations and problems that the future manager of a healthcare facility may encounter.
- Learning outcomes
- The student will know and be able to act in accordance with legal regulations in the areas of seminars, which are: 1. Regulation of drugs and their importance for the practice of the provider 2. Business and supply relations in health care, 3. Rules of public procurement and treatment of public funds 4. Practice of public health insurance 5. Liability and private insurance 6. Cyber security and protection of personal data in health systems

- Seminars with active participation.
- Assessment methods
- 1. 100% participation in seminars/seminars during the semester. 2. Absence will be excused only for health reasons. The student must provide appropriate documentation. 3. Completion of assigned tasks. In case of an unexcused absence, the student will be required to elaborate a seminar work in the range of 1500-2000 words and a 5-8 minutes long power point presentation on the given topic. If the seminar paper is rejected due to deficiencies and is not corrected and re-submitted by the student for review, the student will not meet the requirements of the subject and will not get credit (see Policy of Absence and Late Arrivals, Academic Offenses, Plagiarism and Unethical Behavior). 4. Active participation during seminars / exercises / lectures.
