Course objectives
Content of this study is to acquire informations with general pharmacology, about selective medicamentous groups and effects of drugs on organism.Special emphasis is given to ocular pharmacology and therapy of ocular diseases
Syllabus
  • manner and form of applied drugs of ophthalmology, preparations of drugs, cornea permeability, blood-ocular barier, hypersensitiveness and habituation on ocular medicines, and their effect on autonomic system. parasympathomimetics, drugs blocks cholinesterase, miotics, parasympatholytics, mydriatics sympathomimetics, sympatholytics, carbonic anhydrase inhibitors, hyperosmotic agents topical anesthetics, corticosteroids anti-infective drugs, introduction to microbiology, bacteria, fungi, viri. Antibiotics, sulfonamides, adstringens, antiseptics, antifungales, antivirals. vitamins, antihistamines, viscouses drugs, vazodilatants, iodine preparations, special therapy of ocular tissues, therapy of cataract and glaukoma visit of ophthalmological clinic, practice of applications ocular drugs, asepsis and disinfection
