Course objectives
The aim of Pediatrics is to recognize growht and development in age specific cathegoriesregardkess to newborn and infakt age. The objektive of Pediatrics is preventive intention of child development i physical, psychological and social partsof health. This important for health in adulthood. Pediatrics is interested in diagnostic, treatment and prevention in diseases in childhood. There are specific differences in childhood, diferent diagnostic tools and special care.
Syllabus
  • The field of pediatrics. Child care management. Care of sick children. Preventive merasures in pediatrics. Age categoris, growht and development during childhood. Social issues in pediatrics. New-born infant, probléms with adaptation. Nutrition during childhood. Feeding of infants – breast feeding, formula feeding, nutritional disorders. Inborn errors of metabolism. Dissease of GIT, respiratory tract, kidneys. Dissease of the nervous systém. Convulsive disorders. Emotional and behavioural disorders. Disease of skin.
