Course objectives
At the end of this course, student should be able to: - search in Czech and worldwide library catalogues - order basic library and information services (interlibrary loans, retrievals) - acquire information about electronic information resources - search in electronic databases to acquire bibliographical references of publications or their fulltexts - apply the basic rules of diploma thesis creation and publication ethics - quote correctly and make the bibliographic references according to recommended citation styles - work with reference manager EndNoteWeb - work with journal citation reports (impact factor, h-index)

The e-learning course conditions are: doing homeworks successfully during the term and pass the written exam at the end of term (test through the Information system MU). It is an e-learning course, during the term there are facultative tutorials.
