Course objectives
The subject nursing in internal medicine offers the students the basic overview of most frequent internal diseases, which are probable to appear, urgent situation and their solutions are stressed.
Syllabus
  • I respiratory diseases (bronchial diseases, pulmonary inflammation, pulmonary tumors).
  • 2nd II respiratory diseases (tuberculosis, pleural diaseases).
  • 3rd I cardiac diseases (cardiac failure, valve disturbances, ischemic heart disease).
  • 4th II Cardiac diseases (Hypertension, pulmonary embolism, cardiac diseases inflammative).
  • 5th Angiology (diseases of veins, arterial disease, lymfatic system disturbances).
  • 6th Hypotension, shock (shocks, diagnostics, treatment).
  • 7th Haematological diseases (anemia, white blood cells diseases, coagulation disturbances).
  • 8th Immunologists (specific and nonspecific immunity, Antipode and cellular immunity, immunodeficiencies).
  • 9th Rheumatology (systemic inflammatory diseases, degenerative diseases of the back bone and ancles, ancles of infections, soft tissue diseases).
  • 10th Gastroenterology I (esophagus and sewers diseases, bowel diseases).
  • 11th Gastroenterology II (liver, pancreas and gallbladder diseases).
  • 12th Nephrology (kidney failure, inflammations of kidney, lithiasis, kidney tumors).
  • 13th Metabolic diseases (dyslipidemias, diabetes mellitus, goat).
  • 14th Endocrine diaseases (thyreopathies, diseases of suprarenal glands).
  • 15th Emergencies in internal medicine (coma, cardiopulmonary resuscitation), geriatrics (specificities of care for the elderly patient).
