- Course objectives
- At the end of this course the student will be able to use information on the complex relations bio-psycho-social factors that come into the complex process of regulation of human behavior and apply them in nutrition counseling, education and treatment.
- Syllabus
- Students will learn various explanatory models of motivation of human behavior, which is currently the most benefits, then these findings through practice interviews or case series analysis applied to specific clinical topics. Theoretical and practice blocks are mutually penetrate and logically run consecutively. Students will learn basic psychotherapeutic skills and ways of thinking that are necessary for any field of helping professions. They learn to holistic think about the possible causes of overweight and obesity spreads so its therapeutic potential for job nutritionist. Become familiar with new concepts and knowledge that brings current research in the field. Try and practice basic communication skills of every nutritionist and learn basic theoretical guidance motivational interviewing.
