Course objectives
Main objectives of the course is to obtain knowledge about anamnesis, methods of examination and laboratory tests with application on nursing in clinical subjects, esspecially internal medicine. In the part midwifery propedeutics students become familiar with basic physical examinations in physiological gravidity.
Syllabus
  • Anamnesis and its significance for diagnostics.Methods of physical examination.Assesment of a habitus.Physical examination of a head.Physical examination of a neck.Physical examination of a chest. Physical examination of abdomen.Physical examination of limbs. Physical examination of backbone.Physical examination of lymphatic nodes.Examination of a skin. The most often signs of disease:heart, peripheral vens, peripheral arteries, respiratory tract, digestion tract,excretory system,blood diseses, examination record, bases of laboratory and instrumental tests in internal medicine.Examination methods in gynecology and obstetrics.
