- Course objectives
- Students will gain knowledge of specific nursing care for clients with neurological disease in intensive care and is able to apply in practice.
- Syllabus
- Nursing care for patients with SIRS, sepsis and multiple organ failure. Nursing care for patients with septic encephalopathy, delirium. Nursing care for patients with neuromuscular complications in critical condition. Nursing care for the child client with disabilities nervous system. Nursing care of the client with motion system disorder, sensory, vegativní disorder. Nursing care of the client with coma. Nursing care of the client with stroke. Nursing care of the client with degenerative, metabolic and nervous system demyelinating disabilities. Nursing care of the client before, during and after neurological examination. Nursing care for the child with epilepsy and cerebral palsy. Nursing care of the client with epilepsy and status epilepticus.
