- Radiology Assistant (programme LF, B-SZ)
- Course objectives
- The course is conceived as a theoretical basis for practical actions radiological assistant and its application in other technical subjects radiology. Student is at the end of the course acquainted with the history and development of radiological imaging. Obtained and can use the basic knowledge of all technological processes, physical and geometric principles needed to manufacture conventional radiographs. Able to assess whether the desired view is in favor of the patient, the quality of made-up radiographs. Student can modify the specific imaging conditions due to requirements for display, the status of the patient, the technology, imaging technology and rationally reduce the amount of radiation used. Gain basic knowledge of the application program of quality assurance in conventional radiological imaging, especially operational stability tests. Knows and can use all the parameters determining the quality of imaging X-ray and radiation burden on the patient to ensure adequate quality of radiological information for medical diagnostic purposes in animalistic radiation dose to the patient and medical staff. Provide such expertise to ensure that any error in the resulting display is not caused by improper use of imaging technology.Digital radiography and gain basic knowledge about the possibility of diagnostic imaging without the use of ionizing radiation.
