- Course objectives
- The main objectives of the course: Introducing and understanding the problems in the branch of healthcare and social psychology. Delineating and acquiring the basic psychological notions-bio-psycho-eco-social model in illness and in health. Understanding and applying the most important skills off mental hygiene as well as social sklills. Acquiring and practising the autogenoue training relaxation technique.

Psychosomatic approach and bio-psyho-eco-social approach: Pain, anxiety, and fear Grieving and depression Mental crisis, critical intervention, burn-out syndrom Specifics of the psychological approach across the branches of medicine

- Teaching methods
- Presentation of the personality of the student herself. Active participation is expected, pairwork, teamwork.
- Assessment methods
- Requirements for finishing the lecture, form of the finishing colloquium. Students will be informed about the requirements for getting the credit in written form a seminar paper on a certain topic will be set(5 given topics and 1 topic of oneś own) according to the requirements given. The content of the paper may be personal reflections and experiences supported by citation and examples from leterature.Colloquium has a form of a written test, the result of the test is evaluated in points, within the range from 0 to 25 points, min.number of points for passing is 20 Total evaluatin of the student in the subject is combined from the evaluation of the seminar paper and the performance at the colloquim.
