Course objectives
The learner focuses on the individual workplaces. Studying correctly specified and applied the preparation, the procedure and treatment of the patient. Students will become familiar with the standard procedures used in oncology Learners will describe the structure and the valid legislation and standards for work in the hospice.
Learning outcomes
Student after graduation will be able to: - identify and summarize basic care o children with cancer, sick - familiar with the guidance documentation of the nursing plan - applied psychological approach to the sick - propose a nursing care plan
Syllabus
  • the implementation of the nursing process and its evaluation - meeting the basic needs of the sick - sampling of biological material for examination - assists in the selected examination in oncology - monitor and record values of vital signs - familiarity with assessment scales - care of the immobile sick - therapeutic rehabilitation - app pharmaceuticals - dressings of wounds - preoperative and postoperative care - disinfection and sterilization - the basics of palliative care
