Course objectives
The student will explain the basic pathologies in gynaecology. The students will appraise the stages of womens life, and female reproductive cycle. The student identify the physiology and pathology of females genital organs. The student will discuss the prevention, diagnosis procedures and therapy. The student will construct the planned parenthood.
Learning outcomes
The student will be able to: - describe the anatomy of the pelvis - explain the stages of the labour - to describe the cardiotocography record
Syllabus
  • The program aims to give the students a broad spectrum of theoretical kwnoledge in gynecology. It presents the basic subject for the future professional activities of midwives.
  • The target of the lectures is the deep knowledge of the students of the stages of womens life, and female reproductive cycle. The main topics are:
  • physiology ant pathology of females genital organs, anatomy of the female genital organs, inborn defects of female genital organs, female cycle, menstrual disturbances, syndromes in gynaecologic endocrinology, investigation methods in gynaecology, pathology of the localisation of female genital organs, children and adolescent gynecology, ultrasound in gynecology, endometriosis, sexually transmitted diseases, planned parenthood, infertility, female sexuality and its disorders, genital organs injury.
