- Course objectives
- Students learn to use the theoretical knowledge from the orthoptic and pleoptic studies in practically at orthoptic department. Each student works under supervising of a orthoptist supervised by strabologist. The aim of the practice is to get independence during the performing of orthoptic - pleoptic exercises which are part of treatment of amblyopia and strabism in children. Contents of practice is also practical training in strabological clinic and operating room during strabismus surgery.
