Student is able to investigate patient including using of basical diagnostic tests in dermatovenereology, to choice appropriate topical therapy, further differential diagnose in principal groups of skin and venereal diseases. - Course Enrolment Limitations

- Course objectives
- The aim of the subject is to introduce students in practical aspects of examination approaches, diagnostics and appropriate treatment choices of dermatoses and venereal diseases. During the first semester the training is focused on detail understanding of basic clinical approaches in dermatology and veneorology, acquiring of used and some specialsed diagnostic procedures and approaches in the main groups of skin diseases.
- Learning outcomes
- Finally the student will be able of individuall clinical work with patient, to interpret pathological skin and mucous membrany findings, diferential diagnose and proposal of investigation plan and therapy.

- Ist Day: Examinations in Veneorology. Clinical Dermatology.
- IInd Day: Clinical Dermatology. Evaluation of Clinical Findings in Patients. Skin Mycoses.
- IIIrd Day: Clinical Dermatology. Evaluation of Clinical Findings in Patients. Practical Aspects of Eczema Diseases and Their Differential Diagnostics.
- IVth Day: Clinical Dermatology. Evaluation of Clinical Findings in Patients. Elaboration of Case Record. Practical aspects of Phototherapy.
- Vth Day: Clinical Dermatology. Evaluation of Clinical Findings in Patients. Evaluation of Case Record. Autoimmune Diseases of Connective Tissue. Final Evaluation of the Student. Credit.

- Teaching methods
- Course is organized as one week intership at dermatovenerological clinics. Course is composed of collective seminars to the given topics and practical bed-side demonstrations in small groups.
- Assessment methods
- Giving the course-unit credit is conditioned by 100% attendance of lessons and by ellaborated case record. Evaluation of knowledge during the course, periodical controls by supervisor/head of the department.
