Course objectives
The subject follows the subject of Expert Practice in Emergency Care and Components of IRS. It is an important part of the study program. It allows the application of theoretical knowledge in the conditions of pre-hospital emergency care. Extends knowledge of special diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Provides space for skills, skills and habits. It teaches students autonomy, responsibility and teamwork. Students work under the supervision of clinicians in accredited workplaces.
Learning outcomes
The student will:
be able to apply theoretical knowledge in practice conditions;
know the specific diagnostic and therapeutic procedures used in pre-hospital emergency care;
improve their practical skills and habits, autonomy and responsibility;
gradually increase their teamwork ability;
have a wider awareness of the work of the IRS components.

Teaching methods
The student works in accredited contractual health care facilities, at workplaces designated by the school plan, under the supervision of a supervisor / mentor of professional practice. Practical active participation is expected in all activities in which the student will participate as a member of a team of non-medical healthcare professionals.
Assessment methods
Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes: Credit is awarded on the basis of confirmation of the performance and the extent of the practice and assessment issued by the medical institution, where the student did the professional practice, on the school form.
