- Course objectives
- The aim of the practical course is to prepare students for the creation of a scholarly text and its presentation. Students will go through the steps of its preparation, from the planning of the structure to the presentation of their work. The course is a preparation for the elaboration of seminar and bachelor thesis and for the creation of scholarly materials in the frame of professional practice.
- Learning outcomes
- Students will be able to: - apply basic methodological principles in the preparation and realization of their own research; - process quantitative data in Excel, - create an abstract for their own scholarly text, - produce a formally correct scholarly text, - use Word's ability to write scholarly texts, - create a bibliographic record of an information source in AMA style, - know the rules of publication and citation ethics, - create an electronic presentation in PowerPoint, - present and defend their own scholarly work.

- Brief theoretical preparation, practical lessons with feedback on processing, e-learning, creation of seminar work.
- Assessment methods
- 100% attendance at seminars, active participation in seminars, elaboration of all tasks assigned in the lessons, creation and presentation of seminar work for a field subject in accordance with formal requirements for written papers. In the case of an excused absence, the tasks will be elaborated separately and entered into the IS.
