- Course objectives
- Emergency medicine for medical rescuers is a profiling theoretical and practical subject. Its aim is to prepare students both theoretically and practically for the job of a medical rescue worker, a member of the emergency rescue service team or the hospital emergency department team.
- Learning outcomes
- The student will be:
aware of the care provided by the terrestrial medical rescue teams and follow-up care at hospital inputs, urgent income departments, nursing individuals and groups.
have the theoretical basis for providing comprehensive urgent and pre- individuals and groups of patients / patients. - Syllabus
- Practical implementation:
- basic emergency resuscitation with the use of barrier aids and, in particular, extended emergency resuscitation with the use of recommended medicaments, aids and instrumentation,
- the process of addressing all urgent, life-threatening conditions in both adults and children in pre-hospital and early hospital phases, using barrier aids, instrumentation and recommended drug products,
- training of special, alternative techniques to ensure vital functions.
