Course objectives
Radiology is a separate preclinical study. Thanks to modern, dynamically developing technologies, its importance is increasing. It includes imaging of the oldest, which include methods of exposure to radiation (radiography, fluoroscopy, computed tomography, angiography) and other modalities, especially ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging without further radiation burden. Interventional radiology is another area.
S radiology directly related to the development of digitalization and PACS systems ("Picture Archiving and Communication System"). The practical exercises students learn specific procedures for patients with traumatic history with a focus on radiography and computed tomography.
Learning outcomes
Student je po ukončení předmětu:
- obeznámen s konkrétními postupy u pacientů s úrazovou anamnézou se zaměřením na skiagrafii a výpočetní tomografii.
- mít povědomí o zobrazovacích metodách zobrazovací, k nimž patří metody s radiační zátěží (skiagrafie, skiaskopie, výpočetní tomografie, angiografie) i další modality, především ultrazvuk, magnetické rezonanci a intervenční radiologii.
