- At the end of the course students should be able: use informatics for search and sorting of professional informations; operate advanced diagnostic and laboratory devices; evaluate obtained data by the biophysical methods in light of a scientific, effective, safe and efficient attitude to their use; discriminate possible usage of the biopfysical techniques and medical devices in practice;

- Practical exercises.
- Future of informatics in medicine. Searching of a scientific informations.
- Safe and effective usage of a diagnostics and therapeutic methods.
- Computerised simulations in medical education.
- Nanotechnology in medicine.
- Luminiscence and lasers in medicine. Fluorescent microscopy.
- Experimental tasks:
- 1. Measuring of a elektromagnetical parameters of environment – measuring of magnetic field and kvantification of a external sources of elektromagnetical radiation.
- 2. Measuring of a blood flow velocity in peripheral arterias.
- 3. Diagnostics ultrasound with the model for duplex imaging.
- 4. Diagnostic ultrasound - 3D imaging; controlled cathetrisation of a model of vessel.
- 5. Termography – cooling test.
- 6. Termography – emissivity measuring.
- 7. Evaluation of parameters of X-rays.
- 8. Perimetry and Cornea topography.
- 9. Spektrophotometry and elektrophoresis of nucleic acids.
