- Course objectives
- The goal of Physiology is to explain how the human organism works, from molecular interactions to organ systems and their regulation.
- Learning outcomes
- At the successful end of the course Physiology - at the level of its study field, the student will be able to ;
describe basic functions of the human body - from cells, individual tissues, organs, systems and organism as a whole ;
explain the basic types of regulation in the human organism ;
determine the basic numerical parameters of a healthy adult human;
to apply basic physiological principles to the clinical problems of their study field - Syllabus
- Fyziologie dýchacího systému. Transport plynů. Regulace dýchání. Dýchání za různých fyziologických podmínek;
- Funkční morfologie nefronu. Clearence. protiproudový systém ledvin.Regulace ledvinných funkcí;
- Gastrointestinální systém (morfologie, funkce, metabolismus substrátů). Energetický metabolismus. Vitamíny, minerály, voda ve výživě
- Žaludek, duodenum, pankreas, játra (morfologie a funkce).Tenké a tlusté střevo (morfologie a funkce). Výživa člověka, hladovění, obezita;
