- Course objectives
- The course gives the necessary knowledge about the construction and operation equipment used in radiology - radiodiagnostic, radiotherapy and nuclear medicine. After completing the course students will be familiar and able to explain the issues of ionizing radiation, radiation detection methods for image creation, provide basic information about the individual components of the equipment and the types of equipment used in radiodiagnostic, radiotherapy and nuclear medicine. Finally, students will be familiar with the legislation.

- • To acquaint students with sources of ionizing radiation • Learn about radiation detection methods for image creation • Provide basic information on the function of individual instrument components • to acquaint students with the different types of instruments used in radiodiagnostics, radiotherapy and nuclear medicine • Introduce students to valid legislation
