- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the concept of special pedagogical approaches to individuals with disabilities/disadvantages in an inclusive framework of the field. The subject expands students' knowledge of the specific needs of the target group by combining special pedagogical approaches into the quality of life perspectives of an individual with disabilities/disadvantages. Moreover, special pedagogical strategies to support individuals with disabilities/disadvantages in managing everyday life obstacles are presented. Students will gain knowledge from current trends in special pedagogy.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the course, the student will have the knowledge to apply functional approaches to the specific needs of people with disabilities/disadvantages and connect them to the contexts of their professional field.
