Course objectives
The subject is conceived as theoretical. It includes anesthesia, intensive care and resuscitation care of children and adults.
The aim is to equip a health rescue worker with the knowledge needed to provide patients with essential life functions, to support and replace them with the use of anesthesia and analgesia techniques for all ages.
Learning outcomes
The student will be able to:
know the basic techniques of anesthesia in all age groups;
- the student will be able to characterize outpatient anesthesia and analgesia;
know the basics of anesthesia in selected fields (gynecology and obstetrics, urology, orthopedics, head and neck surgery, neurosurgery, burns, pediatrics), specific risks of an advanced age and complicating illness,
- orientation in analgesia techniques in both pre-hospital and hospital care.
Syllabus
  • Basic techniques of anesthesia in all age groups; - Pulmonary anesthesia and analgesia; - Parental anesthesia in selected disciplines (gynecology and obstetrics, urology, thoracic and vascular surgery, orthopedics, head and neck surgery, neurosurgery, burns, pediatrics), specific risks of the elderly and complicating diseases,
  • - techniques of analgesia in both pre-hospital and hospital care, possibilities of pharmacotherapy.
