- Course objectives
- The main learning objectives are:
- acquiring theoretical knowledge about the organization and importance of psychiatric care in urgent acute care
- acquiring theoretical knowledge about major psychiatric disorders;
- acquiring theoretical knowledge about dealing with acute psychiatric conditions;
obtaining theoretical knowledge about possible pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment in psychiatry. - Learning outcomes
- After the completion of the course the student will be able to:
- understand the importance and organization of psychiatric care in acute urgent care
- describe and recognize symptoms of the most common mental disorders
- suggest appropriate acute treatment to calm an agitated. - Syllabus

THE FIRST LECTURE, NURSING CARE IN PSYCHIATRY, WILL BE HELD IN PERSON IN THE AUDITORIUM ON THE GROUND FLOOR OF THE PSYCHIATRIC CLINIC, No. 136 (on the left next to the main entrance to the PK building) on February 15, 2023 at 8:00 a.m. FURTHER LECTURES WILL BE CONDUCTED ON-LINE ACCORDING TO THE INTERACTIVE SYLLABUS published in IS MUNI.
