Course objectives
At the end of this course the student has the knowledge application high-frequency therapy, electrodiagnostics in physical therapy, electrostimulation and applications electrogymnastics, impulsoterapie.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this course, the student will be able to:
- use high-frequency currents and microwaves, distribution and principle of action
- use short-wave diathermy and ultra-wave diathermy, methods of application, indications and contraindications
- use microwave diathermy, indications and contraindications - thermal procedures, total heat application, contraindication of total heat application, therapeutic use
- underwater massage, bath additives, sauna, local heat application, indications and contraindications
- cold on the body, total cryotherapy, local cryotherapy, indications and contraindications
- Phototherapy
- infrared and ultraviolet radiation,
procedures - colors, their physiological effects and the potential of therapeutic use
