- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the formal requirements of the processing of the thesis provided that the publishing ethics and proper citation of sources. In this course, students will be acquainted with the methods of a diploma thesis development according to the Evidence-Based Healthcare approach.
- Learning outcomes
- Student will:
- be aware of the requirements for processing and structure of the diploma thesis
- be able to interpret ethical aspects of the thesis
- to formulate aims, objectives, research questions and hypotheses of the thesis
- be aware of the possibilities of using information sources for development of diploma thesis
- be able to develop a search strategy
- be able to formulate a problem that will be solved through the diploma thesis
- be able to draft thesis topic, objectives and hypotheses
- be familiar with a way of communication with the supervisor
- to search evidence necessary for thesis methodology preparation, which it will continuously consult and specify with the supervisor of the thesis - Syllabus
- Structure of the diploma thesis, schedule and formal elaboration.
- Theme of the thesis and definition of key words.
- Search query - wildcard and helper characters, Boolean operators.
- Searchich of the best available evidence.
- Ethical aspects of diploma thesis, citation ethics.
