Prerequisites
BOFZ0121 Physics I && BOMA0121c Mathematics I-p
The course builds on the lectures of Physics I. High school level knowledge of physics is required.
Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is only offered to the students of the study fields the course is directly associated with.
fields of study / plans the course is directly associated with
Course objectives
The aim of the course is to broaden the overall overview of the basic course in general physics. At the end of this course, the student will be able to understand the laws of classical physics, explain basic physics concepts, solve problems using theoretical knowledge, evaluate results obtained by basic physics methods, and apply the knowledge gained from classical physics to the field of biophysics and medical physics.
Learning outcomes
The student will be able:
- individually formulate the general laws of physics
- explain specific physical phenomena on the basis of this knowledge
- understand the effects of physical factors on living systems
