- Course objectives
- Prepare general nurse for specific nursing care provided for patients with compromised vital functions requiring emergency care in the prehospital phase and in the emergency department. The course will gain basic knowledge and practical skills in the field of diagnosis and early treatment interventions in emergency conditions. Nurse to learn the principles and legal standards applied in the management and organization of the IRS Emergency Mass health disabilities and the principles of mass intake affected in healthcare facilities.
- Learning outcomes
- The student will be able to provide and provide highly specific nursing care to a patient with a risk of vital functions requiring urgent care at the pre-hospital stage and the emergency department. The student will be able to describe, explain and provide care in the field of diagnostics and primary treatment of urgent conditions. The student will be able to describe, explain, justify principles and apply legal norms in the management and organization of IZS in case of emergencies with mass health disability and the principles of mass reception of disabled people in health care facilities.

- CPR (BLS, ALS). Nursing care for patients from the perspective of emergency medicine with: - a heart rhythm disorder, elektroimpulsoterapie, AKS - Pulmonary embolism, hypertensive crisis, congestive heart failure - shock states - shortness of breath, asthma, COPD - impaired consciousness - seizure disorders - infections of the CNS - stroke - sepsis - trauma, polytrauma - burn trauma, electric shock - hypothermia, hyperthermia, heatstroke, sunstroke, drowning - acute conditions in gynecology - acute conditions in endocrinology - disorders of the internal environment - sudden abdominal events - acute conditions in pediatrics - intoxication: general aspects, procedures, specific poisonings
