Course objectives
The aim of the course is to develop the students' communicative competence based on various texts (spoken and written), which require understanding and subsequent interpretation of both the communicative situation, the intent of the speaker, the social and psychological relations of the speakers and the ability to identify various written and oral statements, background of text. Understanding the text will result in students' productive activities.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the students are able to: understand texts and reports on given topics, advise in situations related to topics discussed, describe their experience, plans and aims, explain and justify their views and plans, argue.
