- Course objectives
- Musical psychology as a psychological branch. Concept apparatus of musical psychology. The relation of musical psychology to general psychology and to psychology of personality. The relation of musical psychology to ontogenetic, social and pedagogical psychology. Musical psychology and psychopathology; utilization of musical psychology in psychotherapy.

- Syllabus
- Musical psychology as a border discipline between musicology and psychology has various conceptions but essentially it always deals with the problems of musical abilities, apperception and mental representation of music, issues of musical creativity, issues of personality and creation and reception, psychological questions of music (emotionality) and tone psychology, socially-psychological and developmentally-psychological issues of music and musicotherapy.
