Course objectives
The main aim is an advancement of accompaniment of a folk or artificial songs. At the end of the course students should be able to play the songs in transpositions in other keys and make an individual harmonisation of easy folk melodies. Playing of 2 compositions. Playing the retaining tonal method songs in diverse keys.
Syllabus
  • Advancement of accompaniment of engaged melody. 20 Songs with transpositions in other keys (any overhead and lower second and third). Individual harmonisation of easy folk melodies. Two piano pieces. Playing the retaining tonal method songs in diverse keys. A performance (a committee of teachers) is ambodied in schooling. The student plays one of compositions: R. Schumann Op. 68 UBOHÝ SIROTEK (Armes Waisenkind), LOVECKÁ (Jägerliedchen), VESELÝ ROLNÍK PŘI NÁVRATU Z PRÁCE (Fröhlicher Landmann von der Arbeit zurückkehrend), F. Chopin: Preludio Op. 28 No. 20 and one folk song with trasnpositions (any overhead and lower second and third).
