The German course for intermediate students who can understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc., who can produce simple connected text on topics which are familiar or of personal interest, and can read text and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.

Course objectives
In the compulsorily-optional German as a Foreign Language Course A, the students will consolidate their language skills from secondary school (Pass in "maturita" in German is required), and will learn some selected academic skills /oral presentation, supporting argument, discussion, etc.) in German.
Learning outcomes
By the end of the course, the student will be able to: - understand spoken LSP texts at B1 level of the CEFR; - understand written LSP texts at B1 level of the CEFR; - produce an informal email; - show a good command of selected grammar structures at B1 level of the CEFR.
