Course objectives
The aim of the subject of Neurology for speech therapists is to extend the knowledge of the terminology of the field, overview of diagnostic methods, course of neurological examination and its results - within the framework of inter-departmental cooperation. She then learns about selected syndromes, disorders and illnesses in children, where logoped and neurology is needed as part of the complex care and support of the child.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student will be oriented in selected terminology, will have an overview of diagnostic methods and specifics of interdisciplinary cooperation; will focus in this context on selected syndromes, illnesses and disorders in children as part of comprehensive support.
